Amazon FBA Wholesale from Bangladesh: A Zero-to-Pro Roadmap
There are a thousand videos on Amazon FBA wholesale, but almost nobody shows you the whole picture in one place. What comes first, what comes later — miss that order and you'll get stuck halfway, money already spent. So let me lay out how this actually runs from Bangladesh, the way it really happens.
So what is "wholesale", really
Plain and simple: you buy genuine, branded product in bulk from a brand or its authorized supplier, then sell it on the same Amazon listing where that product already sells. No new product to invent, no photoshoots, no brand to build from scratch.
That's the line between this and dropshipping or private label. Here it's real stock, real brands, real permission. A bit of a grind to set up — but once it's standing, it's far more stable.
Which step, and when
This is exactly where people trip — they start chasing suppliers before the account is open, or pour money into stock before they've learned product research. Keep the order:
- Open a US LLC and get your EIN — this is your legal identity to do business in the US.
- Use the LLC papers to open an Amazon Professional Seller account.
- Learn product research — telling apart a product that profits from one that'll sink your account.
- Find suppliers or brands, email/call them, and open wholesale accounts.
- Get ungated for the brands and categories you actually want to sell in.
- Place the first order, prep the inventory, and send your first FBA shipment.
- Then run the account — pricing, the Buy Box, returns, reimbursements, taxes.
Why FBA and not FBM
Here's the reality: sitting in Bangladesh, you can't personally ship parcels to customers in the US. With FBA you send your stock into Amazon's warehouse, and they handle packing, delivery and customer service. So if you're working from abroad, FBA isn't really optional — it's the whole point.
Let me be straight with you
This is not a no-money side hustle. The LLC, the software, and most of all the inventory — you put money in first, and it comes back slowly over weeks of sales. Supplier approvals and ungating take time too. If patience isn't your thing, this line will be hard.
Every step here has its own detailed guide in this series. Read them in order and the whole road clears up.
