What it is
Have I Been Pwned, run by security researcher Troy Hunt, tells you if your email address or password has appeared in a known data breach. It's the fastest way to find out whether you need to change passwords, and its API powers breach checks in many password managers.

Why I use it
I check my main emails here every few months. If something shows up, change that password everywhere you reused it — and that's exactly why you shouldn't reuse passwords.
